In our workshops we facilitate groups of up to 25 people, singles or couples, setting up a “constellation”. In a constellation, participates “stand in” for key members of the family and are arranged according to their own inner image. Once the constellation is established, an extraordinary phenomenon begins to emerge very quickly: each representative starts experiencing the feelings, thoughts, reactions and body sensations of the specific person they represent.
This is a spontaneous process coming out of each representative's soul and heart, defying all rules of logic and reasoning
However, one explanation for this comes from the work of English biologist, Rupert Sheldrake, whose study of fields or “knowing fields” offers us understanding and insight into how this process works. For more information

Once established, the constellation can then reveal the conflicts and tensions inherent in the family system. This kind of exploration brings forth new awareness, communication and understanding as the system eases towards greater harmony.
Working together as a group is a powerful part of the process and one that builds on the compassion of the collective presence. Even as observers we will gain new levels of awareness and insights about our own issues and our own healing.
