Peter deVries
Peter was born and raised in The Netherlands in the 1950s. At the age of five his father died in a sudden coal mining accident. It was only after having had the opportunity to set up his own Family Constellation that he was able to see, with new clarity and insight, his deep unconscious connection with his father. With this new clear seeing, Peter was then able to release this unconscious following to become more connected with his full energetic potential.

This amazing process turned out to be a precious gift, which radically transformed his life on many levels. The work not only allowed him to open the door to his physical and psychological freedom, but it changed how he was to pursue his life's mission.

Educated in Europe, Peter has studied Family Constellation Work with Gabrielle Borkan, Victoria Sneh Schnabel, Bert Hellinger, Hunter Beaumont, Gunthard Weber and others, and has worked in thousands of constellations. He is a counselor and certified mediator for couples, families and corporate clients, and is a leader of the Inner Journey and Men's Journey workshops. As a minister and facilitator of the Living Essence trainings, Peter has been exploring, practicing and teaching consciousness, growth work and heart centered transformation with individuals and groups. He maintains a private practice in the San Francisco Bay Area and conducts workshops and trainings throughout the US, Europe and the Caribbean.

Cara deVries
Cara holds a Masters Degree in Integral Psychology with an emphasis on child and family therapy. She has worked for many years with the Expressive Arts including, sandtray, drama, writing and movement.
She has had extensive training in family systems, bereavement, bodywork and trauma resolution.

In 2000, Cara completed her training in the Family Constellation work with Victoria Sneh Schnabel, a principal teacher of this profound work. She has since studied with Bert Hellinger and has been deeply influenced by others, including Gabrielle Borkan and Katie Atherton. Recently, she completed a 3 year training in Somatic Experiencing, a naturalistic approach to renegotiating and healing trauma.

Her 25 years of working with ill and dying children and their families have deeply informed and shaped her connection to the human experience. Her work with children stems from her own deep and abiding respect and reverence for the child and their process of development and growth. For Cara, the art of healing and its potential came out of the continuing discovery of what we both struggle with and what gives us strength. Her hope is to share in a part of those important and very human discoveries.
